What a credit buys
One credit per section generated, one per submission graded, two per writing assessment. A typical four-section test costs four credits to generate. Objective grading is always zero.
Top-ups and rollover
Extra credits cost $0.10 to $0.12 each and roll over for twelve months. Monthly plan credits reset each month and do not roll over.
For schools and departments
One invoice for the whole English program. Teachers are unlimited and free on every institutional plan.
Japan institutions
From $300/yr base, plus $8 per student per year
50 student minimum. Teachers unlimited and free.
International schools
$2,400/yr up to 300 students. $4,200/yr up to 600.
Custom pricing above 600 students.
Pricing questions
- Should I choose monthly or annual?
- Annual is the better price on every tier and is what we quote by default. Monthly costs more per month and exists for teachers who want to try a term before committing to a year.
- What happens when I run out of credits?
- Objective grading keeps working, because it never uses credits, and so does everything else that is not generation or written assessment. You can buy top-up credits at $0.10 to $0.12 each whenever you need them.
- Can I change tiers?
- Yes, at any time. Moving up takes effect immediately. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal, and your history window changes to match the new tier.
- Do unused monthly credits roll over?
- No. Monthly plan credits reset each month. Top-up credits you have purchased do roll over, for twelve months from the date of purchase.
